We've Just Launched Our Free n8n Template Library

We're releasing something we've been thinking about for a while: a free n8n template library. It's a collection of the workflows we've built and refined for ourselves and our clients, and we're making all of them available at no cost.

This isn't a product launch or a lead magnet. It's just us contributing back to the n8n community in the same spirit that's made automation accessible in the first place.

What We're Releasing

The library is live now. Every template includes:

  • Downloadable JSON files you can import directly into your n8n instance
  • Copy-to-clipboard functionality for quick setup
  • Submission to the official n8n template site (pending approval)
  • Video walkthroughs on YouTube or Loom showing how each workflow is configured and why we made certain design choices
  • Companion blog posts for workflows that benefit from deeper technical explanation or context

We're not gating anything. No email signup, no upsell funnel. You can grab what you need and use it however makes sense for your setup.

Why This Matters for the n8n Ecosystem

n8n's growth has been driven by practitioners sharing what they've built. The official community forums, GitHub discussions, and template exchanges are full of people solving real problems and posting their solutions. That collaborative momentum is what makes n8n different from closed platforms where every integration costs money or requires vendor approval.

By open-sourcing our internal workflows, we're hoping to:

  • Lower the barrier to entry for founders and operators who are automation-curious but don't know where to start
  • Provide working examples of patterns we've tested in production, not just proof-of-concept demos
  • Invite iteration and improvement from people who see a better way to structure a workflow or handle an edge case

The best automation ideas don't come from agencies hoarding IP. They come from practitioners building in public and learning from each other's mistakes.

What's in the Library (and What's Coming)

We're starting with workflows we use regularly:

  • Content syndication engines that pull from multiple RSS feeds, deduplicate semantically using sentence embeddings, and route articles based on topic clusters
  • Lead enrichment pipelines that take inbound form submissions, validate and enrich contact data, and sync to CRM with conditional logic
  • Monitoring and alerting systems that track API uptime, log errors to structured databases, and send context-rich notifications to Slack or email
  • Data transformation utilities for cleaning, normalising, and routing webhook payloads between systems that don't natively integrate

We'll keep adding as we build new internal tools or solve interesting client problems. If there's a specific use case you'd like to see tackled, let us know. We can't promise we'll build everything, but if it's something we're already working on or it fits our expertise, we'll prioritise it.

How This Affects Your n8n Workflows

If you're already using n8n, these templates can serve as:

  • Reference implementations for patterns you've been meaning to build but haven't had time to architect properly
  • Starting points you can fork and adapt to your specific data sources, APIs, or business logic
  • Debugging aids when you're stuck on how to structure a complex branching workflow or handle error states gracefully

If you're new to n8n, the templates give you working examples to reverse-engineer. You can see how nodes are connected, how data is passed between steps, and how conditional logic is structured without having to guess or piece together fragments from forum threads.

Constraints and Considerations

A few things to keep in mind:

These workflows reflect our specific use cases. They're not universal solutions. You'll likely need to adjust node configurations, API endpoints, or conditional logic to fit your environment.

We're not providing support. The templates are documented and we'll do our best to explain how they work, but we can't troubleshoot your specific setup or debug custom modifications. The n8n community forums are a better place for that.

Some workflows require external services. If a template uses a sentence-transformer API, a specific CRM, or a third-party enrichment service, you'll need to set those up separately. We'll document dependencies clearly, but we can't provide accounts or API keys.

We'll update templates as we improve them internally. If we find a better way to structure a workflow or fix a bug, we'll push the updated version to the library. You won't get automatic updates, but you can re-download and compare.

Closing Thoughts

We're releasing this library because we've benefited from the n8n community's willingness to share. Every workflow we've built has been informed by someone else's forum post, GitHub gist, or template submission. This is us paying that forward.

If you find these useful, great. If you improve on them, even better. Share what you build. That's how this ecosystem gets stronger.

You can find the full library at https://www.granitemarketing.co.uk/templates. If you have questions about a specific workflow or want to suggest something we should build next, reach out. We're listening.
